Switchgear is an endless system of rotating cogs where you spin around in an endless circle of rotating gears while participating in a hunt where you are both the hunter and the hunted at the same time. The aim of the game is to collect all the items that appear to beat your highest score, and unlock achievement cogs, whilst avoiding falling off the cog, being crushed between the cog teeth or caught by enemies whose purpose is to stop you. Collect power ups to help you stay one step ahead where every second counts.

Prologue for the game:

In an eternal expanse known as the Chronoverse, the timeless responsibility of maintaining the fundamental Cogs of Time rests upon Switchgear, an ingenious maintenance robot. Tasked with navigating an endless system of rotating gears, Switchgear assumes the dual role of both hunter and hunted. Player’s step into the mechanised shoes of Switchgear, collecting essential temporal fragments—symbolic of the delicate balance between past, present, and future—strewn across the cogs. These fragments are vital components contributing to the seamless operation of the cosmic clockwork. As players unlock achievements and evade perils such as falling off gears or outsmarting adversaries, mysterious power-ups materialise, seemingly bestowed upon Switchgear by an unknown creator. These enigmatic enhancements add an extra layer of unpredictability as players strive to ensure the perpetual operation of the Chronoverse. Amidst the relentless pursuit, Switchgear must also contend with the "Time Disruptors," adversaries whose relentless mission is to destroy the fabric of time itself, their motives and origins remaining shrouded in mystery, further intensifying the urgency and intrigue of the narrative.
